A little bit about me

Dear Families,
I am a nanny of 10 years; who is in search of providing families a stress-free experience in the Metro Atlanta Area. As a nanny I have provided a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop from infancy to middle school age; a desire to feel welcomed as they learn and enjoy the daily activities provided.

In previous years, I've helped many families with housekeeping, organizing their home, assisting their child with homework. Then breaking for snack & soon a nap, as I get the laundry, requested meals, & home well kept. My focus each day is to be positive as I continue training or assisting your love ones in their home, as they enjoy the time we spend together, while caring for your home in making it a safe and happy occasion.

At this time my availability is: Friday, 1:00-5:30 PM Saturday and Sunday 1:00PM-4:00PM. If you are interested in the services I have to offer, then I look forward to speaking with you soon!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently in Med School to advance my knowledge in the medical field for children and adult care, in order to advance my abilities in being an asset to the home. I also manage an academic team for children, K-12 for the past 12 years, to improve my student's academic needs.

A lot of my childcare experiences were rendered in the comfort of my family's home, who was in need of the services I listed in my initial bio.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love, reading to them, watching movies, going outside for different gam activities, drawing, painting, singing, dancing, going to the park, cooking with them, computer games (if allowed) and simply being a great sense of inspiration in having fun and enjoying life to its full, within safety standards.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What has really mattered to me over the years is the way you provide care to the child and the families you assist. I believe when a nanny is enthusiastic, responsible, flexible, understanding, fun, nurturing, punctual and trustworthy. These qualities provide a stress-free experience in which paves the way to a successful journey of receiving a helping hand when in need,

My experience with special needs children...

Because I still manage a care team for children who are in need of special attention, this has provided me the ability to care for an array of students or children who have struggled with the unknown or know disabilities they bare. I have been privileged to work with children who have had: Developmental Down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, processing disorders, sensory impaired, blind, visually impaired, deaf, and limitation in hearing. Although some students can't control such issues, I always feel a nanny should be sure, what they can and can't handle in accepting positions, in order to ensure proper care to the family and their loved ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Oh goodness, I have had so many sweet, memorable, and tear-jerking moments while caring for my little sweethearts. If I had to speak of one time, I could recall a great moment; was when one of my families had date night; and this family was always so welcoming and sweet in providing food and supplies to ensure, I was not to worry about anything other than making sure; there little one was cared for. Although I had worked on and off with them primarily for date nights, the first time; it was a very nervous time for us both. I wanted the parents to feel assured that everything was going to be okay. So after me and Ma**** (little girl) ate, we watch cartoon movies, we did karaoke and took pictures every step of the way, but I sent sweet messages from the daughter's statements to the mom to show that her princess was having a great time! I must say this reassurance went a very long way. And we are still good friends to this day; to the point, her daughter still asks for my presence. :)
