More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysat for family friends and neighbors (ages 2–10), including homework help, playtime, meals, and bedtime routines
• Volunteered at local church/school events, helping supervise and entertain groups of young children
• Took care of younger siblings and cousins regularly growing up—handling everything from diaper changes to helping with online school during breaks
• Assisted with children during community or sports team events (like tennis team gatherings), making sure they were safe and engaged
• Helped manage schedules, snacks, and downtime for younger kids while their parents worked from home
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing creative and hands-on activities with kids, like arts and crafts, baking, and building blanket forts. I also enjoy reading stories with different voices, and coming up with fun games that keep them learning and laughing. If we’re outside, I’m all for chalk drawings, playground time, or anything active!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the child and the parents. Kids need to feel safe, heard, and cared for, and parents need to know their child is in good hands. Being consistent, kind, and reliable makes all the difference.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when I helped a shy little girl finally feel comfortable enough to speak up and read out loud during storytime. We had been working on building her confidence for days, and when she finally said, “Can I try reading this part?”, it made my whole week. It reminded me that small wins for them are huge moments for us too!
