A little bit about me

Hi, I am Tiana. I come from a lively Greek home that is very family-oriented and full of fun and laughter! I am currently a senior at ASU working towards my Bachelor's in Business Administration. Aside from school, in my spare time, I love working with children, baking and cooking, and spending time with my two cats, family, and friends. I have always loved spending time with little ones and can't wait for the day of having a family of my own. I have early memories of having fun with my nanny, and she has impacted my life so much that I would love to be that for other little ones! No need to worry about pets, I am very comfortable with all types of animals since I've been surrounded by them my entire life. I hope that I can be the nanny for your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children through family friends, although they are now older, I would love to venture out and continue nannying as it brings me much joy!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Enjoy taking children to museums such as the IDEA museum in Mesa, parks, splash pads, swimming in a pool (full supervision), using our imagination, creating games with little ones, and so on!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Connecting with the kids and being a person they can trust, I believe that safety and being an authority figure are very important, but you never want a child to fear you. How I treat the children that I nanny is always how I would want to be treated, and how I would like my kids to be as well!

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have much experience with special needs children, but have been surrounded by special needs individuals due to a family member being handicapped.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a game with a child I nannied, we called it fight the water. We were at a park, and the sprinklers were on in the middle of summer. He's very into knights and dragons, and I told him to use his imagination and think of the water heading towards the castle! The best part was his smile!
