A little bit about me

Let me introduce myself! I am a mother of five kids ages 8 to 17! My husband, kids and I have served as church planters for the past 14 years in Central Asia. We have just relocated back to the United States. I have experience both as a mom and working with other children. I have taking care of many children over the years, have been a regular substitute in my children's school and have taught children of all ages in our church. You can leave your children in my care with great confidence, knowing that I will take care of them with great love and patience, treating them as if they were my own. I am a good cook, loving healthy foods. Although there are many benefits to the technology in our world, I believe children should spend the majority of their time focusing on real life experiences. I love spending time with children, reading books, being outside, teaching life skills and encouraging role play. I believe children thrive with gentle but consistent boundaries.
