The most important part about being a many would be making a child feel safe, and comfortable in an environment they are not used to or helping them feel calm when they are sad or upset.

I have some special needs cousins that I have baby sat. I know many calming techniques to help overstimulated children calm down.
Such as talking calmly, taking a walk with the child, and having them redirect from what’s upsetting them to something they like,

My favorite moment would be when I worked in the daycare and a little one came up to me to show me what they draw, or just them talking about what they like.
