I have a passion for kids, I hope to start back school in fall for early childhood development to become a teacher. I believe that I have the patience and drive to be in this field. Since I was very young I have always wanted to be a teacher. I feel that I understand the development of children very well. For many of the children in my family I’ve worked to successfully speed up their development in terms of learning math at the age of 4, walking at 7 months, getting out of pull ups at 2 and much more.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I learned my passion for kids right before I started high school. In grammar school during recess ( which is the only free time of the day we had) I would go to the kindergarten class and read to them, take them to gym & music class or monitor them during recess. Some days I would sit down with them individually while they would practice reading to me. At one point I took a group of the more advanced students and taught them how to read a clock... ME, SEVENTH GRADER teaching kindergarteners how to read a clock ! There was no textbook to show me how, I simply broke down everything I knew about reading a clock into its simplest terms. They caught on fast, a child’s understanding reflects on the teacher, never the child !

Making s’mores, kids yoga, reading & practicing to better skills they already have.
