A little bit about me

I have been in childcare since I was 10. I started babysitting for families in my neighborhood. Then at 19 I had my first daughter who is 30 l. She is also a nanny & she just a baby, my first grand daughter inMay 2026. I also have a 22 year old daughter who is a nanny as well. I was a single mom for most of my life. I've worked as a nanny with multiple families, daycares as a certified lead infant, toddler and preschool teacher, held an administrative position at a daycare,;worked in the public schools in sharon as a para-professional in their early learning center & at the early learning center in attleboro as a long term substitute teacher.
I'm currently a nanny almost 10 month old boy. He was 4 months when i started, in Newton MA. I live on the bellingham line. I went to college majoring in early childhood education. I have a new car, so I have reliable transportation, CPR/First Aid certified, I am very reliable, very energetic and love what I do so it never feels like a job.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a certified infant, toddler, preschool teacher and held a administrative position at a daycare .
I have baby for children that are in my family as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I kove taking children to story time, free pop up events, the farm, going to the playground and for walks. Playing games, reading books, doing arts and crafts, dramatic play and building with blocks magna tiles
I search everyday for child related events on a website called community kangaroo. They list story times, music for children and more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the children feel safe! Making sure they are fed and clean. I treat the children as if they were my own. I teach them to become independent, learn life skills and manners. Making sure i keep them safe and being on the same page as the parents. Communication is key!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked in the early learning center in attleboro as a para-professional in a preschool in a classroom of children who all had special needs who were on the spectrum, non verbal, down syndrome and more. I also was a long term substitute in a classroom in attleboro which had a room with kindergarteners and elementary school aged children

The most important part about being a nanny...

I took one of the children (2 years old) along with a group of nanny friends with children of the same age to a laser show inside Jordan's furniture and they were all mesmerized! Just seeing the joy on their faces made me so happy.
