A little bit about me

I’m an experienced nanny/childcare provider. I have raised 4 children of my own who are all adults now. I have a BS in Psychology as well as an associates in medical assisting. I started babysitting when I was 11. While I spent many years working in medical offices, about 6 years ago I decided to go into nannying/childcare as I truly enjoy taking care of children. I consider myself a young grandmother-type nanny. While I am a middle-aged nanny, I am young at heart and energetic. Most children and babies warm up to me quickly. I am well versed in today's baby care trends and guidelines. I have taken online classes as well through NH's Childcare licensing guidelines. I am CPR and first aid certified. I carry all necessary vaccinations. I look forward to talking to you about your family's needs.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Babysitting since age 11 kids of all ages. I have early education coursework through college and a BS in Psychology. I have volunteered in infants and toddlers for many years through church. I have babysat for friends and relatives over the years as well as raising 4 kids of my own. I have volunteered in classrooms over the years for my kids as well as my daughter’s classroom who is a kindergarten and now third-grade teacher. I also have volunteered as an adult leader for teens ages 13 to 18 for mission trips to the Dominican Republic. I have taken early childhood education classes in college as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy crafts, games, reading, coloring, music, playing outside. I grew up with a swimming pool so I love to swim and feel comfortable teaching kids to swim. I enjoy going on outings, playing mini golf, amusement parks and so much more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a part of a child’s life as they are growing is an important part of life to me. I take that role seriously and want to come beside parents to help them raise their children and know and feel they will be well taken care of while they are away at work or wherever they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have too many to count. I just love spending time with kids. Babies are the best. I find in a world that can be so crazy, the innocence of a small baby is just so precious. I love watching them learn new things, finding their hands, feet, laughing, sitting, talking, etc.
