More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a cpr/first aid teacher for 10 years. I have owned my own daycare for 21 years and have had children 0-17 years in age in attendance. I volunteered for many children related events and have had 100’s of trainings due to the 16 hours of course training required for daycare per year. These range from health related, to behavioral development to curriculum for all ages and also psychological and physical logical for all ages. Many subjects about outside play, play as a learning tool and many on fun topics such as arts and crafts. I love to be with children and experience the world through their eyes!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors! We are avid campers and boaters! I also love animals, swimming, cooking with children, and arts and crafts. Limiting time with electronics is very important to developing young minds. Computers, tablets, cell phones and social media are okay every now and then and should be monitored closely when children are involved.

The most important part of being a nanny is the bond you build with the children and being accepted and respected as a family member but knowing that the parents are always in charge and coming together with them in all aspects of raising their children.

I do have experience with young children with ADD, ADHD, Autism and Dow’s Syndrome.

My favorite nanny moment was being one on one with my kiddos and them never wanting me to leave! Then reconnecting with them 20 years later and hearing how sweet they always thought I was!
