Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My previous family provided me with such joy to care for their twin boys. One of the boys is autistic. This allowed me to experience a different level of care for a child but also the memories of watching him grow with his condition.
I spent my days caring for both boys, starting with them waking, breakfast preparation, taking them to therapy and appointments. Spending the days at the park, going for hikes, bike rides and walks.
Lunch preparation and nap time then allowed me time for light housekeeping, laundry and dinner preparation if needed.
And I always enjoyed having them in date nights too for all fun and play time!
