A little bit about me

I enjoy working with children primarily because of the fact that children are truly a gift. They need to feel loved and safe especially when a parent is absent.
When I was a child my mother was working with Smithsonian Institute and was often away a week at a time. I was truly blessed with a loving nanny.
I started working with children who were physically and mentally challenged. I learned to appreciate the the uniqueness of each child.
Educationally I have B.S. double majoring in Business Management and Communication Art. After that I began working on my M.Ed in early childhood education.
I relocated from Pittsburgh to Atlanta without completing my degree.
I spent over 15 years working in Healthcare IT in customer facing roles, trainer, PM, Implementation Specialist.
Four years ago I left IT to follow my dream of being a working Artist. I love what I do and I occasionally teach basic art classes.
