A little bit about me

I love being a nanny!
It’s my goal to stay with a family long term so the children and parents have reliable care.
My heart swells when I see kids learn and overcome new challenges. I’m all about teaching kids new things and letting them teach me new things. Having a day where we can just go to the park and play without any screens is ideal. I strive to limit screen time as much as possible. I believe in teaching kids how to handle going out to movies and restaurants. Having conversations with those at the table and handle sitting at the table coloring instead of needing a device.
I have an amazing husband of two years. And three fur babies ( 1 cat and twin dogs). We have opened our home up to letting the nanny kids get a new environment for play time and even how to handle being around pets. Our back yard is fenced in and offers a great flat space for playing soccer or baseball.

The most important part about being a nanny...

On my honeymoon I was gone for 2 weeks and my current nanny kiddos called me because they missed me. Mom and dad had no idea they had stolen the phone to face time me. It was the funnest and sweetest moment that lives in my heart. My husband laughed as they filled us in on the week we had missed of their lives so far.
