Hello, my name is Victoria and I am currently a second grade teacher at odyssey charter school in Wilmington. I am moving to Felton next week and going for my second masters degree this fall to become a school psychologist, therefore I am looking for a position working with children but with flexibility. I am certified, licensed and fingerprinted. I am also a mother of four grown children and was a stay at home mom until my last child was in fifth grade so I know how to run and manage a household. I am open to housekeeping as well.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a Delaware state licensed elementary school teacher. I was also a state licensed Pennsylvania teacher before I move to Delaware four years ago before being an educator. I was a social worker for children and families in Boonton New Jersey and Pompton Plains. I am currently a teacher in Wilmington but I am looking for a more flexible schedule due to me wanting to go back to school to become a school psychologist overall I have worked with children for over 15 years and have four of my own.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read stories, complete crafts, draw and do art. I also love to play games with them such as board games or any kind of learning games. During my Montessori training I worked with a lot of hands on materials for children to learn and grow, so I would be able to provide that for elementary school children in their homes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a Nanny is safety first and making sure the child is safe at all times and seen at all times. Secondly, that the child is cognitively and physically nurtured by the Nanny. Ensuring that the child’s needs are being met by the adult that is taking care of them.

My experience with special needs children...

During my masters at Drexel University completing my education degree, I completed over 24 courses in special education. This included helping children with autism, intellectual disabilities, specific learning needs, or creating IEP’s for specific learning needs.
