I had the opportunity to volunteer my time as a younger woman with LA Unified School district helping my Mother in her classes of 3-5 year old children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play time is so important to develop creative thought and to open up the exploratory nature in us all. I have enjoyed drawing, model building, working with clay and paint as well as sewing and working puzzles for indoor activities. Outdoor play activities are joyous when we have the opportunity to explore nature by planting gardens and examining nature around us. Playing frisbee or catch and tag in the park or backyard are always fun. I also enjoy reading to children.

What matters most for me as a Nanny is helping guide children in a compassionate loving way that will help to increase their self esteem and sense of self worth and belonging.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite Nanny moment was when I had the absolute pleasure of sitting with the most bright beautiful little Lad Adrain. We would leave the house after breakfast and head to the local
Park. We would walk through the neighborhood or Adrian would ride in his Radio Flyer wagon. At the park we would actively engage with the varied play equipment available and would create movement games that would allow him to use his tiny limbs for exercise. He was exploratory by nature so we would discuss birds and animals plants and trees and often time just sat quietly and observe the ants. He was a gentle spirit and a joy just to be around.
