A little bit about me

I am a retired public school teacher from Maryland. I now live in Loris, SC. I taught first grade for 11 years, 3rd grade for 7 years and grade 5 for the rest. I tutored children from ages five through 14. I also was a live in nanny for two years at the start of my teaching career. Currently, I am substitute teaching at a Christian school for ages 6 months to 10 years. I have a Master’s degree in Special Education and have extended experience with children who have special needs, including autism and vision/hearing impaired. I also worked with children who have behavioral challenges. I am creative, motivated, and love to do art activities and arts and crafts.
