A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Tranice, and I truly enjoy caring for children and creating a safe, loving, and positive environment for them to grow in. I have both personal and hands-on caregiving experience, and I’m very patient, attentive, and dependable.

As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I’m naturally responsible, organized, and take safety very seriously, but I also bring a warm, nurturing energy that helps kids feel comfortable and cared for. I love engaging with children, whether it’s helping with routines, playtime, or just making sure they feel supported throughout the day.

I would love the opportunity to be someone you can trust with your child and support your family however needed.
Your kids are safe & not eating crayons on my watch!😊

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have hands-on experience caring for children through both volunteer work and personal caregiving. I’ve volunteered in school settings where I supported and supervised children, assisted with tutoring, and helped create a positive and structured environment for learning.

In addition, I’ve regularly cared for children within my family and neighborhood, including nieces, nephews, and younger kids, where I was responsible for their safety, daily routines, meals, and engaging activities. These experiences have strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with children of different ages.

I take pride in being dependable, nurturing, and creating a safe, comfortable space where children feel supported and cared for. Families can trust that I will treat their children with the same level of care and responsibility as if they were my own.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities that support both learning and development. This includes reading together, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and interactive games that encourage imagination and social skills.

I also like incorporating structured activities such as simple learning exercises, storytelling, and hands-on play that keeps children active and mentally stimulated. At the same time, I understand the importance of routines, quiet time, and creating a calm, balanced environment.

My goal is always to make sure children feel happy, engaged, and supported while also giving parents peace of mind that their child is in a safe and caring environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment where children feel secure and cared for. It’s not just about supervision, but about being someone they can rely on emotionally while also supporting their growth and daily routines.

Building trust with both the child and the parents is essential. Parents need to feel confident that their child is in good hands, and children need to feel comfortable, understood, and supported.

A great nanny balances patience, consistency, and attentiveness while also encouraging development, independence, and positive behavior in a loving way.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children who require extra patience, understanding, and individualized care. Through my caregiving and personal experiences, I’ve learned how important it is to remain calm, attentive, and supportive while creating a safe and comfortable environment for each child.

I take pride in being patient, adaptable, and observant, making sure I respond to each child’s unique needs in a positive and reassuring way. I understand that consistency and structure are key, especially when supporting children with special needs.

I also believe strong communication with parents is essential. I would appreciate having a detailed outline of your child’s routines, preferences, likes and dislikes, as well as any specific do’s and don’ts. This allows me to provide the best care possible and ensure everything runs smoothly while maintaining a familiar and supportive environment for your child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was caring for a little one who was having a really rough day and just needed comfort. I sat with them, read their favorite book, and just gave them that calm, patient attention until they finally relaxed and fell asleep on me.

In that moment, it reminded me how important it is for children to feel safe, understood, and cared for. Being able to bring that sense of comfort and security to a child is something I truly love, and it’s why I enjoy what I do so much.
