More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Although I may not have an extensive list of formal babysitting jobs, I do have experience caring for a close family friend's 5-year-old. I would often babysit when needed, picking him up from school, taking him to the park or movies, assisting with his schoolwork, and helping prepare him for bedtime. This hands-on experience has given me a strong foundation in child care and a real understanding of how to engage with young children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I love doing with children include going to the park, where we can play games, explore nature, and enjoy some outdoor fun. I also love doing arts and crafts, reading stories, and organizing little games or scavenger hunts that help keep them engaged and learning. I believe these activities not only keep them entertained but also promote creativity, physical activity, and important developmental skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to grow and explore. It's about not just meeting their basic needs, but also supporting their emotional well-being, encouraging their development, and making sure they feel seen and valued.
My experience with special needs children...
Although I don’t have direct experience working with special needs children, I’m open and eager to learn. I understand that each child is unique, and I’m committed to providing a supportive and patient environment for children of all backgrounds. I’m also happy to undergo any training or learn from parents or caregivers to ensure I can meet their child’s specific needs. I believe that a child-centered approach, where I listen and adapt to their individual needs, is key to providing the best care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A memorable moment for me while babysitting was when the child I cared for started to treat me like family. There was a point when he would get so excited whenever I arrived, eagerly wanting to hang out, play, or simply talk. It made me realize that I had created a safe and comfortable environment for him, and that sense of trust and connection is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I’m not just a caregiver, but someone he feels close to, is a sign I’m doing something right.

Babysitter Available in Palm Desert, CA: Ayleen M.
Hi! My name is Ayleen, I’m currently student who genuinely enjoys being around kids and creating a positive environment for them.
I previously worked as a math tutor for middle school students, and that experience taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and how every child learns differently. I really enjoyed building connections with the students and helping them gain confidence in themselves.
Outside of school, I love music and have played a couple of instruments, I’m also into arts and crafts and outdoor activities. I enjoy being creative and active, and I love bringing that energy into the way I interact with kids. I’m a quick learner, good at following directions, and someone who takes responsibility seriously. I always try to be caring, dependable, and positive in everything I do.
