A little bit about me

Hi my name is Trinity Geary! I am 17 years old and a senior in high school this year. I am originally from Casper Wyoming and relocated to Florida a couple years back due to my younger brother having a genetic disease called Tuberculosis Sclerosis. Being in Florida has helped him medically and helped us financially also. I grew up with so many younger children around me due to having a big family and loved helping out with watching them and doing anything to help my family get what they need done without having the distraction of their kids or just being able to go to work. I absolutely love being around kids and watching movies with them, making them food, taking naps, playing with them and everything to just make them happy. A lot of people have mentioned to my mom and I that I can tend to be a kid whisper or something like that because they all tend to ask for me, come to me and overall just love when I am around! I would love to be a babysitter for somebody so shoot me a message!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

No professional type of experience but growing up, I was the one in my family that watched and took care of every one of my siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. Some of my moms friends and also asked me numerous times if i could watch their kids and of course i had to say yes. I in general just love being around kids and of any age also.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities: Hide and seek, playing with their toys with them, watching movies, arts and crafts, building forts, and a lot more of stuff as long as they are just having fun!
Outdoor activities: Painting rocks, blowing bubbles, making obstacle courses, swimming, playing tag, hide and seek again, sack races, riding bikes, doing whatever they might like to do as long as it is safe.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel as though the most important part about being a nanny is really connecting with the kids you're nannying. It's about understanding their little quirks, what makes them tick, and what they're passionate about. When you get that, you're not just someone watching over them; you're someone they trust and enjoy being around. Building that trust also means being reliable and consistent. Kids thrive on routine and knowing they can count on you. It's about showing up when you say you will, following through on promises, and creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel comfortable being themselves. It's in those moments of connection and consistency that you really make a difference in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger brother who has a rare genetic disease called Tuberculosis Sclerosis also is a special needs child. When my mom wasn’t home working her butt off to pay for things for not only our household and her other children she was doing so to pay for all of his medical expenses; I would feed my brother, bathe him, give him he’s meds day and night, watch him by the minute so that I knew he was okay and help him with whatever he needed help with. For example, he loves building legos and I would sit there helping him put it together. I love spending time with him because he’s not only my brother but he is also my best friend and I can’t imagine a life without him.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my absolute favorite moments has to be the epic Christmas fort we built. Picture this: blankets draped over furniture, fairy lights twinkling, and a pile of pillows so high you could dive into it. My nephew and nieces were all laughing and had huge smiles on their faces and it genuinely made me so happy, each of them contributing their own special touch to the fort we all built. Once our fort was done we all hopped in for a Christmas movie marathon with a giant bowl of popcorn and all the snacks you can think of. It wasn't just about the movies for me though. It was about the feeling of being together, cozy and warm, sharing laughter and creating memories that I know we'll all cherish for years to come. Those are the moments that watching children for me are absolutely so amazing.
