In my early high school years I sat for my neighbor, she needed me to watch her 9 month old while she worked nights. That consisted of mostly a sleeping baby but I kept the house up and things organized and orderly while I was there. After I graduated high school I moved in with my older cousin and took care of his 1 year old autistic son for most of the day while he was away. I have great experience caring for all age children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love storytelling to children of all ages from reading to toddlers, to recommending books to tweens. When the weather is appropriate I love to explore the great outdoors from parks, to beaches. I also love making sure children are exploring their creativity so I have tons of activities they can really express their artistic abilities!

The most important part to me is the satisfaction I get from knowing that the child is comfortable in their own home while their parents are away.
My experience with special needs children...
My only experience with caring for an S.N.C was my cousin 1 year old cousin who has autism. Feeding him and making sure he ate enough took more patience and direction but nothing I couldn’t handle. His way of playing is separating toys into groups and I knew not to ever disturb his groups while he played.

A parent invited me to a family wedding, the child I was sitting for sat on my lap the whole ceremony, followed me around the dance floor, never left my side. The whole night I had a toddler shadow.
