I use to be an in home nanny for a year. I worked with ages newborn, three, six, eight, and 10!

I have also worked with a visually impaired 9 year old girl over the summer of 2021, it was truly one of the best experiences I have ever endured!

I am currently a Discovery Preschool lead teacher of 3 years! I have worked in every room from infants- school age children. I am currently working on my Associates degree in early childhood education!

I also have experience as a Behavioral technician for children with Autism! I have been a tech for one year and learning new ways to understand all ranges of children !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go outside and play soccer, go to the park, walks, swim !

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part for me would have to be the bonds I’ve made with each and every child. I worked with a family and their kids loved having me around and I created great relationships and a form of trust which helped me succeed with my career!

My experience with special needs children...

Visually impaired
Autism

The most important part about being a nanny...

I use to care for a nine year old visually impaired girl. Her and I had created a special bond during the summer of 2021 due to the fact that she was able to see prior to meeting me. She loved the fact that she never knew what I actually looked like and every time I would change my hair she loved feeling the different textures. We both enjoyed singing, dancing, and learning new things together… for example she would teach me how to read braille !!
