A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Ty’teunna , and I’m a 19-year-old nursing major currently in my sophomore year of college. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and CPR certified, with a strong background in childcare. I’ve babysat at a daycare in my home town since I was 16yr and I absolutely love working with kids. I also know American Sign Language (ASL), which has been a helpful skill in connecting with more children. I'm reliable, patient, and passionate about helping others—especially little ones! My long-term goal is to become a pediatrician, and I believe every experience caring for children brings me one step closer to that dream

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been babysitting since I was 13, working with a variety of families in my hometown—including friends, relatives, and neighbors—to earn extra money while gaining experience, I’ve also worked at a daycare in my hometown since I was 16yr. I’ve volunteered with a nonprofit organization that supports single mothers, helping distribute essential supplies to those in need. Caring for kids has always been a passion of mine, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them to grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

- Reading books and helping with early literacy
- Arts and crafts (painting, drawing, coloring, DIY crafts)
- Teaching basic ASL signs in a fun way
- Helping with homework or creating learning games
- Playing at the park or backyard games (tag, hide-and-seek, scavenger hunts)
- Going on nature walks or exploring outdoors
- Bake simple cookies or cupcakes, then let the kids decorate them with frosting, sprinkles, and candy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving environment where children feel secure, valued, and free to explore the world around them. It’s about making sure they know they’re always supported, whether it’s in a moment of uncertainty or as they take on new challenges. But safety doesn’t just mean protection—it’s also about fostering a space where fun, creativity, and learning can flourish. Having fun is essential too! It's about bringing joy into everyday moments, from silly games to imaginative play, and ensuring that each day is filled with laughter and excitement. A balance of both safety and fun is key to helping kids grow, learn, and thrive, while knowing they’re in a space that’s both secure and filled with possibilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most heartwarming moments I’ve experienced as a nanny was teaching a baby boy some basic American Sign Language (ASL). Watching his face light up when he made the sign for “milk” or “more” was incredibly rewarding. It was a powerful reminder of how communication isn’t just about words—it’s about making connections. His tiny hands signing “thank you” to me still brings a smile to my face.

Sandra K. - Seeking Work in San Antonio

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Antonio, FL: Sandra K.

Retired teacher, mother, and grandmother- looking to still work on a more individual scale, part-time.
I like to get to know and bond with children, getting to know their likes, as well as dislikes -for planning activities, snacks, and meals. I take pride in making kids happy, active, and in keeping them well fed.
I have recent experience in planning and making nutritious after school snacks for four grandchildren before swim classes and Brazilian Jujitsu classes, cleaning up and prepping or preparing dinner for their return.
Many experiences and skills as being a mom, grandmother, teacher, and babysitter- which would not all fit in this form. My first job was in middle school, occasionally babysitting for 2 children. I babysat and cleaned up after nieces and nephews as I was growing up. I raised my daughter and cleaned and managed a household.
I taught middle school and high school for over 20 years.
Now- i am looking to enjoy my time doing what I love
