More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started taking care of my second sibling at 7-8, my first sibling came out when I was 3 so we grew together. Though my mom was a stay at home mom, I was the one responsible for my baby sister. I didn't even know how to hold them, mom taught me everything. From western style care to asian style care, I loved mixing it. But I had to still take care of my baby sister until 3AM while having a school in the morning as a 5th grade student. I had no time to do my homework but that wasn't an excuse to miss it, I would wake up at 5-6am, do my homework and sleep a little before school starts. And I was still energetic during classes, I guess it was because I was a young kid. My youngest sibling is currently 4 years old, the most educated and well mannered sibling I had. A result of my years of experience, and im ready make more well mannered kids too. (be aware Im not going to punish to make them obey :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing IQ and EQ games with children, my teacher used to make us play in elementary. I believe kids are meant to develop rather than just play, developing while playing is an amazing hybrid approach to kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is how you become one of the biggest influencing agent in their lives, my favorite subject is sociology so I know well about these things. The biggest agents in a child's life is their family, school and peers. I realized nannies are an important role too, each one is different so its important to know what kind of influence you want for your child.
My experience with special needs children...
There's a holiday in my country for teachers, where students become teachers and teachers become student for a day. Me and my classmates were sent as teachers to a school for autistic kids, some had ADHD too. Though I didn't see significant difference in them from normal kids, I finished day with no mistakes. Seemed like normal kids to me, but my peers were exhausted. Won't say easy peasy, it was overstimulating but I was the only teacher managed to make them do their work.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I'd say when they sleep to be honest, I mean who doesn't? they look very peaceful. No more screaming, crying, hunger on their face. Really the time I see them as pure angels, heartbeats safe and sound

I grew up helping care for my neighbors three kids. A few summers ago, I also cared for a toddler, and I’ve worked at the YMCA in their after-school childcare program. That’s when I really realized how much I enjoy being around kids, they genuinely brighten my day, and it never feels like work to me.
I played college volleyball in Minnesota while earning my cosmetology license, so I’m very active and love staying busy. I enjoy sports, being outside, and making the most of Midwest summers, especially spending time on the lake and soaking up the sun!
