I volunteered at a summer camp for 4 years. As well as years of experience volunteering with the children department. I also was able to get the chance to volunteer at a sports camp for two summers.

I enjoy hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, going to the park, playing pretend, listening and dancing to music, and playing sports. I enjoy everything with kids as long as everyone is being safe and getting along.

My experience with special needs children...
One girl I nanny for has trouble speaking, learning, and moving her arms. So helping her eat, use the bathroom, and getting her dressed everyday was part of a normal day. We also would do reading and speech exercises as well as doing homework at slower pace.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite things to do with kids is do arts and crafts, especially painting. One day the little boy I watch decided to make a card for me with some of my favorite things drawn in it. I still have it to this day.
