is having a good relationship with the child and their family. I believe that builds a comfortable environment for everyone and allows me to cater to the family's needs as best as I can. The child happiness and wellbeing is also super important to me as I will always put their needs above mine. I also find it very important to exercise all parts of the child's brain by doing many different activities that encourage development.

The most important part about being a nanny...
is when you see the child learn something new and seeing it click in their minds for the first time. I feel very passionate about embracing our children's creativity and allowing them to make connections for themselves. Once they learn something, they begin to apply it and I find that process to be beautiful. It is the basis in which the child will continue to develop and build new schemas. I also took a child psychology course which interested me in the different ways you can go about encouraging children's brain development. My favorite moments tend to be those when I can make a fun and interactive moment into a teaching moment.
