A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Val, and I’ve been learning and growing in the field of early childhood education since 2020. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands-on experience as a preschool teacher for one year and as a classroom aide for another, supporting children with daily routines, play-based learning, and emotional development. These roles have taught me how to be patient, attentive, and creative while helping children feel safe, supported, and confident. I’m passionate about creating positive, engaging environments where kids can thrive, and I’m excited to bring that same energy and care into a nanny role.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experience with children consists of 2 years of early care education where I received my CDA. While in the process, I worked as a floater at a local daycare and after graduation became a teachers assistant at a head start.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing crafts and creating things with kids—it’s a great way to encourage creativity and fine motor skills while having fun. I also love going on walks and exploring nature together, whether it’s collecting leaves, spotting animals, or just getting fresh air. I try to make each day a mix of creativity, movement, and curiosity to keep kids engaged and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with the child and their family. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Being a consistent, positive presence in a child’s life—someone they can count on and learn from—is something I take great pride in. Helping them grow, explore the world, and build confidence is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories as a preschool teacher was helping my class put on a small performance for their families. We spent weeks practicing songs and simple lines, and seeing how excited and proud the kids were on the big day was unforgettable. Some were shy at first, but they gained so much confidence through the process. Watching them light up with joy and knowing I helped create that moment made me feel incredibly proud and reminded me why I love working with children.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Tulsa, OK: Seraphina B.

I have always felt passionate about teaching, learning and childcare. I’ve worked as a babysitter throughout my adolescence, leading to a position as an aftercare teacher/ provider, and eventually an art/STEM teacher. I believe in children exploring the world around them through play, music, art, and experimentation instead of through a screen. I am a nanny who will care deeply for your child’s individual personality and emotional needs, as well as help (and involve the little one) with housekeeping and meal prepping.
