To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting and nurturing relationship with the child and their family. The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a preschool teacher was helping my class put on a small performance for their families. We spent weeks practicing songs and simple lines, and seeing how excited and proud the kids were on the big day was unforgettable. Some were shy at first, but they gained so much confidence through the process. Watching them light up with joy and knowing I helped create that moment made me feel incredibly proud and reminded me why I love working with children.
