In my current role as an Early Interventionist, as well as through my past experiences working as an au pair and nanny, I have gained extensive experience caring for children in both formal and informal settings. These diverse experiences have deepened my understanding of the dynamics within parent-child relationships, both in and outside of the home. I believe these insights have greatly influenced my approach to providing care, enabling me to offer more personalized and effective support to the children I work with.

The most important part about being a nanny is the ability to communicate in a calm way even when one begins to feel a bit anxious or rushed. I believe that children deserve to be treated with kindness and care even if things are not going as easily as one would expect.
My experience with special needs children...
As an Early Interventionist, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children with special needs, including those with autism and cerebral palsy. While I have more experience working with children on the autism spectrum, I am eager and open to supporting children with other disabilities as well. In my role, I focus primarily on helping children reach developmental milestones through play-based interventions.
The most important part about being a nanny...
was when I gave the three year old boy I lived with raspberries, and he started laughing uncontrollably. Next thing I know he says in a loud voice "Banessa fart on my face again!" that was probably the cutest thing ever.
