I was a long term babysitter for 2 different families, one with two children ages 1 & 3, the other with 3 children ages 1, 3, and 6. I worked at a daycare with children aged 0-13.

I enjoy doing outdoorsy activities whenever I can with the children such as walks, parks, frisbee, and teaching new activities if possible such as tennis and basketball. Indoors I like to engage with the kids using board games, card games, using their toys together, and arts and crafts.

Engaging with the children, not keeping them distracted and being a role-model for them, someone they look up to, admire and learn from, but viewed as a trusted friendly care-giver.
My experience with special needs children...
I have no experience in this field although I have advance knowledge for proper care and alternate child care strategies due to being an elementary education major, I have an inclusive education class where the entire point of the class is learning about how to teach/care for disabled children/ children with disabilities.
