Hi there, I’m a mom with two amazing children, a sweet pup and a sassy cat. I have been married to the love of my life for 23 years. I’ve been caring for children for all of my adult life (25+ years). I have cared for ages ranging infant-elementary age, with most of my experience being with infant, toddler & preschool age. I also have experience with twins. I absolutely love children and animals, they are what makes me the most happy in life. They fill my heart with love and joy. I care for all of my Families kiddos as if they were my own, with love and respect and request the same courtesy for myself. I’ve gained amazing relationships and cared for the most amazing children with every family I work with. My first kiddos are now adults..one married and both recent graduates from medical school and I’ve watched my latest kiddos start kindergarten after caring for them since they were around four months old. I am so proud knowing I have played an important part in each of their lives.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at The Red Apple in Bettendorf in the Toddler room and the Preschool room. I worked in the Moline School District with their Preschool Program. I Lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons too.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy going to the park, the library or the museum. I also enjoy taking the little ones for walks in the stroller. I love snuggling on the couch and watching a fun movie with snacks or a lunch picnic on the floor. One of my most favorites is reading books…I’m one of those with the crazy book voices.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is love. Giving a child so much love and comfort is so important. They are missing their mom and dad and I always want them to feel the love and trust so they’re not scared. Of course I want mom and dad to feel comfortable knowing their little ones are in good hands. I never want them to worry.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The boys won’t remember it because they were babies, but one of my most favorite memories is rocking them both to sleep at the same time (twins) as they drifted off to sleep for their nap. I will never forget their little sweet faces looking up at me as I sang or hummed them a song.
