One of my many favorite moment was when I was getting homework done with my kids while doing the dishes. I'd just gotten in from work. My youngest, my son asked, mommy, you always help us with homework while you're cooking, do you get tired? He was in the 1st grade. I didn't think he was paying attention. This further confirmed that kids do pay attention and they do process what's happening so my actions have to be intentional because they are always watching.
