Seeing techniques you use everyday being used without a prompt. Like hearing a big deep breath after getting frustrated, or reminding their friends that "they can do hard things". The most important part about being a nanny is realizing you are helping shape a tiny person.

right when my nanny toddler finished her first (and potentially only, haha) dance recital and her mom was walking her down and once she saw me, she ran over and leaped into my arms!
