A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Victoria Mpaka, I am a 17 y/o first-year psychology major on the pre-law track at Spelman College in Atlanta. I am the oldest of four so I’ve been caring for children for as long as I can remember—my brothers are 16, 12, and 6 years old, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with all age groups.

I am originally from Angola, I was born and raised there before moving to the U.S. nearly ten years ago. I’m fluent in English and Portuguese (my first language), and I can also understand and speak Spanish moderately well.

In addition to caring for my siblings, I’ve worked at summer camps and volunteered as a coach for a youth track team. Mentoring kids and being someone they can trust, talk to, and look up to is a passion of mine. For me, it’s all about building strong, lasting connections.

I’m currently looking for a family that’s flexible with my school schedule, and I’m excited about the opportunity to become a dependable and caring babysitter for your children!
