Most recent was, It was 14 months old Teddy who was very slow to build trust with strangers. On my first day in the room he didn’t even look at me. I tried with offering some toys but no success. Next day I took an empty McCormick spice container and offered to him. He took it and played with it all day. I continued in that way. After one week, I was in a different room when his dad was picking him up. He started stretching hands toward me intending he wanted to come to me. I felt so proud of myself for winning his trust by understanding his needs.
