The most important part about being a nanny...
Meeting each child where they are as an individual. Some children want games, running around in the yard shouting and singing (my sister growing up) and others want someone to listen to them tell stories and sit coloring quietly (me when I was little!) I make it a priority to do both!

One time a little girl (too young to read!) "read aloud" from a children's Bible picture book...except she was reciting the plot of Sleeping Beauty!
