I absolutely love spending time with children and have always felt a strong connection to them. As a mom of three girls, I’ve gained a wealth of experience in caring for children of all ages. Beyond my own kids, I’ve also had the privilege of volunteering at orphanages and with less-privileged children, where I’ve been able to provide support, love, and care to those who need it most. Through my volunteer work, I’ve learned how to be patient, empathetic, and creative in finding ways to engage and support children. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Volunteering at orphanages taught me how to provide nurturing care to children in various circumstances. I learned how to adapt quickly to different needs and personalities. This experience helped me develop the skills to handle challenging situations with calmness and creativity, which are essential for babysitting.

My greatest teacher when it comes to understanding children has undoubtedly been my own experience as a mother. Having three girls—twins first, followed by another baby girl just 11 months later—taught me invaluable lessons in patience, empathy, and adaptability. Each of them has their own unique personality and needs, which has given me a deep understanding of how to nurture and care for children in different stages of development. The whirlwind of having twins first, and then a third so soon after, pushed me to become more organized, creative, and resourceful, all while learning how to balance the demands of each child.

I love doing art and sensory activities with kids. I also love going for walks, to parks, libraries and local attractions such as museums.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think that there are several important things to consider.
1) Ensuring a safe environment, both physically and emotionally, is a top priority. A nanny should always be vigilant about potential hazards and create a comforting, secure space where children feel loved and cared for.
2) Patience and Empathy: Children, especially younger ones, require patience and understanding as they navigate their emotions, learn new things, and grow. A nanny should be empathetic to each child’s individual needs.
3) Responsibility and Reliability: Parents rely on nannies to provide consistent, safe, and loving care for their children. Being punctual, dependable, and accountable is crucial.
4) Communication: Open and clear communication with both parents and children is essential. A good nanny keeps parents informed about their child’s well-being and any important updates, while also understanding and meeting the child's needs.
