More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive hands-on childcare experience, including caring for my two younger sisters, providing babysitting services for my aunt’s neighbors, and serving as a stepmother to five children. In these roles, I have managed daily routines, ensured a safe and structured environment, and supported children’s emotional and developmental needs across a variety of age groups.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I will provide engaging, age-appropriate care by incorporating fun and educational activities such as reading, learning games, crafts, and homework support, along with active play like park visits, dance sessions, scavenger hunts, and obstacle courses. I also enjoy imaginative play, including pretend school or restaurant games, and calming activities like storytelling and quiet reading. In addition, I support daily routines and life skills such as simple cooking, cleaning up, and organization to create a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment for children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and reliable environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. It’s not just about watching them—it’s about building trust, understanding their needs, guiding their behavior, and supporting their emotional and developmental growth while keeping clear communication with parents.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One funny moment I had while nannying was when I turned a simple “clean up your toys” request into a game. I told the kids we were “toys in a tornado rescue mission,” and they had to save every toy before the imaginary tornado reached the living room. They took it very seriously—running around grabbing stuffed animals, blocks, and even a sock they insisted was “a survivor.” In less than five minutes, the entire room was spotless, and the kids were laughing so hard they asked if we could “have a tornado again tomorrow.”

Hi! I’m Bre’Nae, a 23yr caregiver with a true passion for working with children and a strong background in pediatrics.
