Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have previously taken care of two different families while living in Idaho and absolutely love them. The ages of the children I have taken care of are 1, 2,4,5,6,7, and 8. I wrestled last year for my local high school team and had such a blast when I was able to help coach the younger kids. I spend tons of time around kids and have many siblings myself so I am very overjoyed and happy to be around them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to be outdoors and I think it is so important for kids to spend time outside and so riding bikes, going for a walk, or playing at the park are such fun ways to get outside for some fresh air. I also enjoy spending time doing activities indoors like building forts, making crafts, learning new things, and playing games. I think that the possibilities are endless on things kids can enjoy doing and I am not one to just sit around bored so I find fun activities to do no matter the age or weather.
The most important part about being a nanny...
In my opinion the most important part of being a nanny is to help nurture the children. I believe that all kids are deserving of love and respect, and this job is so important because just like parents, nannies help children shape their future.
My experience with special needs children...
I have been a nanny for a family who had children with speech impediments and difficulties with food, however I am extremely patient, understanding, and willing to learn whatever necessary to help that child succeed in any aspect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when one of the little boys I was taking care of said my name for the first time. For months prior he was unable to speak or eat hardly anything so this was a huge milestone and just melted my heart when he called me whit whit.
