I have been babysitting ever since I was in eighth grade. The past two summers I have been a full-time nanny for a family in my hometown. I also serve with four and five year olds in my church, caring for up to 25 children per service.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy being outdoors when I babysit. Whether that be going to the pool or the park, or making up a fun game in the backyard. I am very versatile when it comes to activities, as I can also just hang out inside and watch a movie with the kids on a rainy day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have such a heart for children with special needs. For the past two years, I have been a part of a campus ministry serving teenagers with special needs. I also help out with elementary aged children with special needs at church.
