I have several years of hands-on childcare experience with a variety of age groups. From 2021 to 2023, I regularly cared for two young boys, ages 3 months and 3 years old for a family in Summerville, SC, building a strong, trusting relationship over the course of two years. In 2020, I provided consistent care for a 2-year-old girl in Charleston for one year. Additionally, I volunteered with the nonprofit Just Bee, where I assisted children with special needs, gaining valuable experience in creating inclusive, supportive environments.

I have over 10 years of experience supporting children with special needs, both personally and through volunteer work. My younger brother is Level 2 autistic, and I’ve been closely involved in his care and development, giving me firsthand experience with sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, and communication support. I’ve also volunteered with the nonprofit Just Bee, where I assisted children with a range of needs in inclusive, play-based environments. The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was with a 2-year-old girl named Jade, who absolutely loved makeup. One day, I was putting some on and she sat nearby watching me with the sweetest expression. She tilted her head and asked in the cutest little voice, “Are you putting your face on?” I couldn’t stop laughing 🤣 it was such a cute and funny moment, and just one of those things that stuck with me.
