I have over two years of hands-on experience working with children in both structured and active learning environments. In my previous role at My Gym, a children's fitness and enrichment center, I assisted the lead instructor in planning and leading age-appropriate activities, games, and developmental exercises. I helped create a safe, positive, and engaging space for children by supporting class setup and cleanup, guiding students through physical activities, and providing individualized encouragement. My role required patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to the needs and energy levels of different age groups.

really enjoy engaging children through fun and meaningful activities. I love playing interactive games that encourage teamwork and creativity, as well as doing educational activities that help reinforce learning in an enjoyable way. I also prioritize keeping kids active, typically through simple exercises or outdoor play; this helps them stay healthy, build confidence, and be more creative!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and dependable environment where children feel supported and understood. Being a nanny means showing patience, consistency, and genuine care every day while also building trust with parents and maintaining open communication.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience working with children with special needs from my time at My Gym, where I supported classes that included children with a range of developmental and physical differences. Through this, I gained a basic understanding of how to adapt activities, offer patience, and create an inclusive environment. However, I want to be transparent that I am not yet fully comfortable taking on the complete responsibility of independently caring for a special needs child. I am always willing to learn, follow guidance, and support to the best of my ability, but I believe it’s important to ensure each child receives the care and expertise they need.
