Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I would say I’ve had a rough come up, and still going! since 16 I’ve been helping take care of my brother and babysitting. He’s always my number one priority while in my care, as long with any other familys children. As I’ve said I’ve had a rough come up and that includes jumping homes as a teen sadly, but with that journey came my lessons and thankfully I was with a family friend, that has 3 kids, I would help supervise, cook meals, and provide emotional attention while participating in activities that the kids love. I LOVE kids, I believe they are god’s greatest gift, and I’d be blessed to be considered to be a part time family member ❤️
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve helped with Down syndrome, I would help care for her. Patience is definitely required and learning how your kids likes to communicate, communication is key! Although special needs children you need to be VERY attentive to them, they are amazing and so smart!
