I play with children instead of them being on the tv or phones. i love having tea partys, dress up, cars, board games etc. we can go outside, play pretend, make lemonade and bake what ever disrtracts them from the screen
The most important part about being a nanny...
understanding the child you are taking care of. you need to listen and really observe children before taking action. if they are being bad ask them why take a look around ask yourself if i was their age what would i be asking for. discpline isnt neccessary for everything abuse isnt the answr eaither. of course teach our children to be safe be happy be respectful and be a kid but sometimes kids do kid things putting our hands on them shouldnt be an answer a lil smack on hand because they touched the cookie jar and wont stop i get but a full spanking and beating? no!. kids are going to fight and have opinions too but we must listen and respect theirs they are human like us we dont own our childdren they are their person. listen to your kid love them respect and be honest and just let them be a kid if it is hurting them physically then thats bad but never lay hands on a child just because you think its right or your done talking unless they are bullies :D
