I have been an HHA since 2017. I studied PCT for a year. Since 2018 I have been working with patients and since 2021 I have been working with children with special needs. In Cuba I worked in a children's circle in the infant area and a classroom for 2 and 3 year old children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The activities depend on the age of the baby. You can stimulate the cognitive auditory part through speech, with toys, and depending on the age, through drawing, board games, and outdoor games. You can teach them the basics to create a base and prepare them for the VPK, such as colors, counting the alphabet, and how to hold a pencil.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a child who is almost 6 years old and was diagnosed with autism when he was 14 months old. I immediately noticed his behavior and since then he has been receiving therapy and doing very well in regular classes. I have also worked for more than 4 years with children with autism or another type of diagnosis.
