I worked at elementary schools. I was a substitute teacher, cafeteria personnel and I was also a reading tutor.

I enjoy doing arts, crafts and outside activities with children. I am not above running and jumping with the little ones or sitting quietly and doing some crafts or just reading books.

For me the most important part is the safety of the child. A very close second is fun while learning.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had much experience with special needs children. My son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 6 years old so I have experience in that way. Also, I have been the nanny of an infant born with severe heart defects. The child had to undergo several procedures and surgeries. I had to give multiple meds, feedings and meals through a G tube.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One moment that stands out to me is the confidence and pure joy from a child because he learned to ride his bike after trying a couple of hours. We had fun but he was super excited once he got the hang of it.
