Activities I enjoy doing with children include playing board/card games, arts and crafts, taking walks, playing outdoor games like frisbee or catch, hide and seek, etc, but of course anything the child wants to do I’d do with them. When it comes to young children, about 0-1 year, I’ve learned a lot about sensory play activities such as having a bowl of water with floating toys in order for the child to practice gabbing things and have fun watching the splashes.

The most important part about being a nanny is being a support system for busy and tired parents. I want to be able to help those in need as well as being another person in the child’s life that they can trust and enjoy spending time with. Also, I know for older children, having a “big kid” to play with often makes them feel more mature which is fun for them.
