A little bit about me

Hi, Zee here! I am a student at Florida State University majoring in Clinical Professions as well as a current Preschool teacher. I have a little over 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of roles such as teacher, sitter, tutor, and even coach for about a year. My main goal as a caregiver is to ensure that children are given a safe and nurturing environment in which to build their developmental skills. My favorite practice to use as a caregiver is to create games and activities that allow the child to grow intellectually and emotionally while still having age-appropriate fun such as drawing activities to influence gross motor development in young children or playing school to teach hard topics to older children while keeping them engaged and prevent boredom. I am willing to assist in areas of the household including but not limited to laundry, light housework, carpooling, and grocery shopping, and I am certified in basic life support, first aid/, and AED equipment.
