Activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, painting, making slime, and creating fun little projects they can be proud of. I also love playing Roblox together, having friendly game competitions, and doing classic activities like hide-and-seek, tag, or building forts. I enjoy reading storybooks, helping with schoolwork, going on walks, visiting parks, and exploring anything that gets kids moving and thinking. I also love planning cozy movie nights with snacks, music, and themed activities that make the day feel special. I focus on keeping everything fun, safe, creative, and full of positive energy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is making sure every child feels completely safe, supported, and understood. Kids grow, learn, and shine when they know they’re in a space where they can relax, be themselves, and trust the person caring for them. I always want children to feel protected emotionally and physically, whether that means comforting them, keeping routines consistent, listening when they talk, or simply being patient and gentle. When kids feel safe, they open up, explore, have fun, and build confidence — and being the person who helps create that environment is the best and most meaningful part of the job for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is definitely when I start building a real bond with the kids. I love when they go from being a little shy to running up to me excited, telling me everything about their day, or asking me to join their games. That moment when they start trusting me, laughing with me, and treating me like their safe person is the best feeling ever. I enjoy seeing their personalities shine, sharing inside jokes, celebrating their little wins, and watching them grow more confident each day. Those fun, silly, sweet moments are what make being a nanny so special to me.
