Hello! I'm Zion, a professional nanny with 3+ years of paid private childcare experience and a strong educational background in Early Childhood Education (birth-8). I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor's in ECE and bring prior leadership experience from the U. S. Navy, along with hands-on care in daycare settings.

I provide safe, structured, and nurturing care while creating developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning through play. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, managing daily routines and transitions, supporting schoolwork, and maintaining a calm and organized environment.

I can also help with children's meal prep, light child-related housekeeping, transportation, errands, travel, date nights, and occasional in-home dog sitting. I'm American Heart Association certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED and First Aid.

I enjoy planning developmentally appropriate activities based on each child’s age and interests, including arts and crafts, painting, sensory play, reading, outdoor activities, pretend play, puzzles, learning games, library visits, parks, and age-appropriate outings. I especially enjoy finding fun ways to help children practice new skills through everyday play.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. I believe children should feel secure, supported, and encouraged while also having consistent routines and boundaries. I also value open communication with parents so we can work together to provide consistent care and support each child’s development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are when I get to see a child accomplish something they have been working toward, whether it’s learning a new word, mastering a new skill, becoming more independent, or simply being proud of something they created. Being able to watch children grow over time and knowing I played a small part in that is one of my favorite parts of being a nanny.
