Making sure the children are safe, happy, taken care of and enjoying life. I’m all about safety and making sure whatever a child wants to achieve or whatever them dreams are they do it with caution but with courage. I want to see all kids become successful when they grow up.
My experience with special needs children...
I helped look after and get the special education students to their classes in high school, would take them to games and just make sure they were also apart of spirit days and homecomings. When I was a latchkey teacher, I learned more about the teaching part and helping achieve their daily goals and future success!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I left the ymca/latchkey after program job for a better opportunity, a lot of my students who grown close to me wrote me letters, I still have them. I got close with some parents and it’s sweet still be able to reach out and see how they are doing!
