Hi! My name’s Zoe and I love working with kids as much as I love helping out around the neighborhood. I am a 9th grader, and don’t have a whole bunch of experience, but I have a passion for taking care of children and often take care of my younger cousins. I enjoy playing games, helping with homework, and keeping things organized to my best abilities. I’d love any opportunity I may get to work with you and your littles. My parents will accompany me while your children are in my care, so there’s always an adult on site. I enjoy doing indoor and outdoor activities with children. Indoor such as playing games, reading, watching movies, and baking, keeping the children away from the stove and oven of course. Outdoor includes going to the pool in my neighborhood, as well as the park, and going to the Lake Varner.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is being responsible and caring. You’re literally in charge of someone’s kids, so you have to make sure they’re safe and happy the whole time. It’s not just about watching them — you have to actually pay attention, play with them, help them learn things, and be patient even when they’re being difficult. Kids look up to you, so you have to set a good example and be someone they can trust. Basically, being a nanny is kind of like being a mix of a big sister and a mini parent.
