The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for was having a really hard day and didn't want to talk. I sat with them ,read their favorite book, and just stayed present. After a while , they opened up on their own . it reminded me how important patience and emotional safety are for kids.
